I have done this! Once I got a HUGE chunk already pre-frozen from costco and used it on beef sandwiches for my husband for at least a week, and we were eating a lot of cheese steak sandwiches with it. I found it a little stringy and fatty, but I took out as much of the fat as I could, and the thin cut made it really easy to make a pretty delicious sandwich with! Just wish my husband ate mushrooms so we could have mushrooms on top with all of our grilled onions and peppers. Thanks for the other ideas they sound delish!

I think you should just ask. They probably think your a bit strange already, being a foreigner and all. Why not go the whole way. I think it just depends on the cut you get as there are a few different types. The cheap one we used to get from homeplus had big ridges of fat on it. The costco one was amazing though. Try that instead x

I often find that the fat in bulgogi is stringy and unappetizing. Is it possible to get lean bulgogi? Can you ask for such a thing, or will they think you're crazy?
