Hurrah my favourite time of the year is almost here. a time to eat too much, wear sequins, get drunk and snog someone inappropriate under the mistletoe toe. Choosing the correct place to spend your special day is of the utmost importance, especially if you are visiting from out of town. Luckily I’ve put together a list of some of the best options of where to eat this holiday season.

Enjoy a proper Italian Christmas Dinner from my favourite Italian restaurant in the city. A sumptuous four course dinner with wine pairings is the perfect way to kick off your Christmas holidays. Craftworks Namsan – December 24th – 35,000 pp
Craftworks will be hosting their International Christmas eve dinner this year on Thursday, December 24th with two seating at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm. The dinner includes a choice of of US Pot Roast, Greek Chicken Thigh, or Vietnamese Glazed Ham, and is served with Italian Potato Casserole, Mexican Enchilada Pasta, US Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Middle East Cous Cous Salad, Hungarian Cabbage Roll, Filipino Cake, and a choice of Apple Pie / Pumpkin Pie for dessert. Made will be hosting a four course dinner on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from 6pm – 9pm. The menu includes arancini, beet salad, duck meatballs, duck confit, pork bely porchetta, mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, chestnut and sausage stuffing, mac & cheese, creamed kale, tiramisu, and olive oil cake with egg nog ice cream for dessert. WinK – December 24th & 25th – 35,000 pp
WinK’s new chef will be putting his peddle to the metal this holiday season by knocking up a feast of seasonal delights. Their dinner will have one seating at 7pm on Christmas Eve and two at 6pm and one at 8pm on Christmas Day. The dinner Includes a pale ale or glass of wine, Oven Roasted Turkey, Home Style Gravy, Red Wine Cranberry Sauce, Roasted Garlic Mashed Potato, Cheesy Broccoli Gratin with Mustard Crumble, Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Chestnuts, Bacon and Maple Vinaigrette, Chipotle Honey Glazed Pumpkin, Pumpkin Eggnog Shot, Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies, Warm Chocolate Chip Cookies. Another Italian feast is available at Ciuri Ciuri in Sangsu. On both Christmas Eve & Christmas Day you will be able to enjoy a four course dinner and half a bottle of wine. The menu includes anti pasto, lobster linguine, granita, Italian sausage and lentil stew, and panettone with custard. The meal is priced at 88,000 for two people and is also available on request for the whole month of December. Hopscotch is hosting a fabulous Christmas meal on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day & Boxing Day! Turkey haters should be happy as the meal includes prime roast, creamed spinach, creamed corn, garlic mashed potatoes, yorkshire pudding and a draft beer. Dominic – December 24th – January 2nd – 80,000 + pp
Dominic is really getting into the festive cheer with a whole host of events this holiday season! They will kick off with a five course steak dinner on Christmas Eve & Christmas day for 80,000 per person or an all you can drink and eat party from 9:30pm – close. They will also be hosting their regular brunch menu on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years Weekend with the first glass of bubbly being on the house. Then they will finish the year with a huge NYE steak dinner from 6pm – 9.30pm and an all you can eat and drink party from 9:30 onwards! Bull and Barrel – December 25th – 40,000 pp
Bull and Barrel is once again having their annual Christmas dinner buffet on Friday, December 25th. There will be a dinner at 5-7pm and another from 8-10pm. They have very limited seating, so book your reservations early. The buffet includes Roast Turkey with all the trimmings, Pigs in Blankets (bacon wrapped sausage), Homemade stuffing & turkey gravy, Roast potatoes, Seasonal vegetables, Feta & Walnut salad, Cranberry sauce, Pumpkin Pie for dessert and a complimentary glass of mulled wine.Tickets are 40,000 won per person. Another Turkey Buffet you can always count on is the one at The wolfhound. I’ve been to this buffet a couple of times in the past and have never been disappointed. The Irish Bar has plenty of merriment all around as well as a staggering feast. The buffet includes Turkey, Ham, Pigs in blanket, Chicken pie, Mash potato, Roasted potato, Stuffing, Pecan sweet potato casserole, Smoked salmon, Buffalo Chicken fingers with Ranch, Steamed veggies, Steamed Brussels sprouts, Green salad, Tomato soup, bread, Cranberry sauce, Turkey gravy, Apple Crumble n ice cream and Pumpkin pie for dessert. The Park Hyatt by COEX has a whole host of seasonal treats planned, this years Winter Wonderland brunch looks to be an extra special way to treat yourself over the holiday season.
