If there’s anything that gets my morning started right, it’s a nice cup of coffee. Without coffee in my body I really fail to function well. Coffee is such a personal choice, but for me it has to be an ice vanilla latte. If I’m counting calories I’ll go with a hot americano, or if I really want to splash out, a mocha frappuccino with whipped cream and a shot of Kahlua! I’m not sure if there is any city in the world with as many coffee shops as Seoul, there are at least three on every corner, so the Coffee Expo is a huge event. The event is held every year at COEX, and free tickets are available now if you sign up here before Friday February 22nd.
If you haven’t ever been to the coffee expo before it is a huge four day event. It’s not just for coffee shops or business owners, it’s for the coffee loving public like yourself. There are always tonnes of stalls selling all things coffee related. See what’s new, buy some hand roasted beans, a coffee machine, some flavoured syrup, a cool mug, the list is endless. You will also get to see all the professionals at work and see some amazing foam and latte art during the live competitions.
Running alongside the Coffee Expo is the Drinks & Dessert Show which will provide an amazing chance to sample and purchase all manner of sweet treats, cakes and desserts. So if you aren’t buzzing from all the coffee samples, you’ll be buzzing off all the sugar in the desserts.
